The Curious Case Of Nigeria’s ill-equipped Fight Against Terrorism

After 911, FBI took it upon themselves to put Osama’s face everywhere. Isn’t it baffling that the SSS still can’t make Abubakar Shekau’s face recognizable? Yet they say we should help give info to the authorities. Heck, that nigga probably dances in club all night; Popping bottles and even frolicking with our babes sef! ‪#‎PublicizeTheirFaces‬

Also, why does the FG/Service Chiefs make a Pre-show of security meetings, like they never heard how Osama was killed? ‪#‎EyeServiceChiefs

As much as I believe in the power of prayers, failure to act amounts to little.

Biblically speaking: “unless God watches over a city, the watch man labors in vain”. That simply means there’s a role for God, and a role for the watchman. God could have said, “oh yea watchman, depart from your duty post… For I the Lord shall guard your city”

If the So called “signal” unit of the Nigerian Army still uses analogue radio phones in this modern age, where lies our hope? The FG needs to upgrade the standards of our armed forces, that is matching Information Technology (IT) with combat. So they can brace up to the task of modern day counter terrorism, (earnestly, they could start by watching the series 24) and desist from applying pre-colonial combat styles in the face of a seeming genocide.

Please, the counter terrorism unit should actually counter terrorism, not go pick up corpses after the deed is done.

Lastly, my take is, any service chief who’s not even on twitter is behind time, and should be treated as incompetent to handle 21st century policing.
